As the weather turns colder and the commute gets longer, please remember to report to school on time. Every student that arrives late disrupts the classroom education for other students.
Just a reminder to all parents:
The school doors open at 8 AM.
At 8:15 AM a warning bell rings, signaling that older students should be completed with putting items in locker and report to their Homeroom.
Classes begin and exterior doors are locked at 8:20 AM. Anyone that arrives to class after 8:20 AM must stop by the office to receive a tardy slip and to sign up for a hot lunch.
Any non employees, including visitors, Room Moms, and parents that remain in the building after 8:20, must be checked in as a Vistor and have a Visitor sticker.
Please do not visit with teachers after 8:15 each morning. They are normally in their classrooms shortly after 8 AM every day. They need to get ready to provide instruction and care to their entire class. While we all like to chat with our student's teachers, please respect their time. They are always willing to schedule conferences or can be contacted via phone or email.
As we all follow these simple guidelines, our school will become better and better!
