Dear Parents:
As many of you have now heard, Mrs. Sandy Woods, wife of
long time Bethel Life Center Pastor Ken Woods passed away on Thursday evening.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 9th,
at Bethel. More details will be released
as we receive them.
During their 24 years serving as pastors at Bethel Life, the
church and school grew tremendously. Their leadership led to the building of
the educational wing, the sanctuary, and the Kings Kids complex. Out of
respect and honor for their service, and in order to allow dozens of parents
and teachers to attend the services, we have made the decision to cancel all
instructional classes for Monday.
School will resume on Tuesday.
We understand that a last minute cancellation is a hardship to
some families. We will be staffing our
latchkey program at holiday levels for our working families. No hot lunches will be available.
The scheduled
Basketball games at Sunrise Christian Academy that night will remain on the
schedule.
Thank you for being flexible as we honor one who helped impact
dozens of lives for Jesus Christ here at Bethel.
