Dear parents:
The time schedule has been changed for the KCAA tournament on Thursday.
The boys game is still scheduled for 2 PM, but the girls game has moved to 4 PM. That means all players and cheerleaders will dress at Bethel at lunch and we will depart the school at 1:10 PM to arrive at WAHAA by 1:30 PM. Bethel Life will be the visitor for both games, so will wear dark uniforms, sit to the left (as you set at the table) of the score table and need volunteers to run the clock for both games.
Please note that this is a KCAA event, so gate fees are different: Gate fees are $5 for adults and $2 for children with a $14 max per family per day.
Below are listed the tournament instructions as provided by our host, WAHAA (Church of the Cross):
1. Home teams are on top of the bracket, will wear white, set to the right of the score table and provide someone to keep the official book - which we will provide.
2. Visitors are on the bottom of the bracket, will wear dark uniforms, set to the left (as you set at the table) of the score table and will provide someone to run the clock.
4. DO NOT take cups or drinks other than bottled drinks into the bleachers. You may have them, but please set on the upper deck with them.
5. We will have rooms available for dressing rooms.
6. Games may start up to 20 minutes early on Thursday and Friday, so please be prepared.
7. The KCAA All Tournament Team will be according to finish - 3 for 1st, 2 for 2nd and 3rd and 1 for 4th. Coaches will choose their own players.
8. There will be a hospitality room for coaches and officials, including AD's.
9. Coaches, players, managers and AD's are free. Scorekeepers and clock personnel do not get in free (that includes the host school's people too).
10. KCAA admission rates fund the tournament. No passes are accepted – Gate fees are $5 for adults and $2 for children with a $14 max per family per day.
