The Digital Revolution

Confession from the principal: I learned the encyclopedia by misbahaving.  When I was a student, the teachers had us copy encyclopedia pages instead of writing sentences.

The top tech story of the day is that  Encyclopedia Britannica, after its 268 years of print editions, is going fully digital - available online and on I-pad.  This reflects the growing trend towards digital textbooks.

Last night, the PTF decided to spend a portion of the fundraising proceeds this year on several additional interactive whiteboards.  We also discussed how new technology impacts our curriculum purchases and the decision to move towards managed wireless devices for every student instead of upgrading the computer lab.

I'm excited about the future!
